Director of Behavioral Health
Overview:
A mission-driven behavioral health organization is seeking a Director of Behavioral Health to lead mental health and substance use programs. This role provides clinical and operational oversight, ensures regulatory compliance, and supports high-quality, trauma-informed care. An active LCSW is required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee behavioral health programs and clinic operations.
- Supervise clinical and administrative staff.
- Oversee Medicaid billing, documentation, and compliance.
- Ensure grant, contract, and program deliverables are met.
- Provide clinical support, including intake coverage and crisis response.
- Build partnerships with community and healthcare providers.
- Analyze program data and prepare required reports.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in a behavioral health field.
- Active clinical licensure (e.g., LCSW, LCPC).
- 5+ years of behavioral health experience, including 2+ years in leadership.
- Experience with Medicaid billing and regulatory compliance.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally responsive care.
